Dog Purchasing contract
We, Audrius and Dalia Kazenas of the White Mountain Shepherds, transfer the ownership of a German shepherd dog, born on _________________, ID#_________ named ________________von der Weisberg, to the new owner:

The buyer agrees to the following terms of sale:
Payment of $__________ will be due upon the pick up of the dog on _______________. This will entitle the dog to limited/full registration with the AKC. The dogs bought with limited registration will not be bred and will be spayed/neutered before 12 months of age. Proof of such procedure in the form of a licensed vet note shall be mailed to White Mountain Shepherds no later than two months after the procedure. If the owner chooses not to spay/neuter the dog for reasons other than reproduction, they will get written permission from the White Mountain Shepherds to keep the dog intact. If such dog gets bred at any point without the written consent of the White Mountain Shepherds, the name and pedigrees of the White Mountain Shepherds dogs shall not be used in any way in relationship to the offspring and the new owner will pay a fee of $700 per litter to the white mountain shepherds. This will not entitle the new owners to AKC or any other registration or breeding rights.
We guarantee that your new German shepherd puppy has good genetic foundation for excellent bone structure and temperament, and will be free of genetic diseases . We guarantee that our breeding dogs do not have hip dysplasia. If your puppy should develop severe hip dysplasia, requiring surgery in the future, provided he received appropriate nutrition, and care, you will be entitled for a replacement puppy of the same gender ,or we will cover the cost of the actual surgery. This hip guarantee is valid until your new puppy's 3rd birthday. We guaranty your new puppy for any other illnesses for 14 days. If a reputable vet certifies the illness to be acquired at the white mountain shepherds, We'll gladly pay for treatment of the dog. We will get the estimate for such treatment from our vet and may ask you to treat your dog there or pay the amount estimated by our vet. In addition to the health guarantee, we are always available for questions and advice and would greatly appreciate pictures of your new puppy sent to us.
The new owner agrees to be fully responsible for the full cost of the veterinary care the dog may need. The new owner agrees to take good care of the dog, including, but not limited to up to date vaccinations, ample water, appropriate diet and exercise, and of course, lots of love and attention. The new owner understands that German shepherds are dogs who love work, exercise and play and need training to achieve their full potential. The new owner will be fully responsible for any actions the dog takes and the consequences of those actions.
The dog may not be sold to a pet shop, puppy mill or puppy wholesaler. If such transaction takes place, the buyer will immediately pay the White Mountain Shepherds $500.00 in addition to the full price of the dog.
If the new owner is no longer able to care for the dog for whatever reason, the White Mountain Shepherds will be contacted immediately and the phone # and address of the new owner will be provided. The new owner will have to be approved by the White Mountain Shepherds and the conditions of this contract will be assumed by the new owner. Under no circumstances the dog will be given to a shelter, pound or any other animal rescue organization! If a new suitable owner is not found, the dog will then be returned to the White Mountain Shepherds. No money will be exchanged in this transaction.
The owner's or representatives of the White Mountain Shepherds have the right to come visit the sold puppy at any time throughout the life of the dog, to inspect the vet records and living conditions of said puppy, providing at least 72 hour notice to the new owners. If care or the living conditions are deemed unsafe, unhealthy or otherwise inappropriate to the puppy purchased from the White Mountain Shepherds, we reserve the right to retrieve the dog immediately and he/she will become property of White Mountain Shepherds.
We breed our dogs for their sound temperaments, good genetic and bone structure. It is important for us to know that our puppies are in good homes and are making loving and mutually beneficial relationships. We ask that you keep us periodically updated on your new puppy’s training and health. We believe that when you buy a puppy from our family, you become a part of ours. We wish you many enjoyable years with your new German Shepherd friend.
